Frank Wells - Founder

Frank Wells, a Charleston native, has a passion for serving others in the medical services area of Urgent and Primary Care. After developing and growing another Urgent and Primary Care group over 12 years, as its CEO, Frank negotiated and managed a successful exit in 2018 at the owner’s request.

Frank gained experience in all areas of clinic management and development, including Operations, Finance, Customer Service, Human Resources, Marketing, and Legal. He and his team collaborated to combine the benefits of several medical services models to bring the best of them together in creating a fast, affordable, quality system under Holy City Med Urgent and Primary Care.

The system opened the 1st two clinic locations in 2020, with five additional clinics planned for the greater Charleston area, before expanding into other cities within South Carolina. The team added “Drive-thru testing” in response to the community concerns about CoVID-19, as well as Video Medical Visits (aka telemedicine with video), to provide medical care with the highest safety measures available and as a convenience for patients. Work-related, or WorkComp, medical services are also offered throughout the greater Charleston area.

Frank and his children live on Daniel Island, with his youngest in college. Frank’s mom still lives in the West Ashley home where he was raised. Frank volunteers time with the Seacoast Dream Team, LifeWorks Charleston, God in the Workplace, Rotary Club of North Charleston Breakfast, and serves with WorkPlace Impact, a ministry he helped found for resourcing businesses to make an impact for God’s kingdom through work.
