Board-certified physicians, physician assistants and a front desk that greets you by name.
The supervising physician and clinical director who set the standard of care across both Holy City Med clinics.

MD • Board-Certified Family Medicine & Occupational Medicine
Dr. Weissglass brings over 40 years of clinical experience in family and occupational medicine to Holy City Med. A graduate of NYU School of Medicine, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at MUSC and holds dual board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He previously held medical leadership roles at Carolina Center for Occupational Health and several other Charleston-area practices.

MS, PA-C • Clinical Director, Holy City Med
Kirsten is HCM’s Clinical Director and a board-certified PA with a background spanning Family Medicine and Behavioral Health. A graduate of Georgia Southern University (Biology & Sociology) and South University’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, she brings experience across all age groups and is a strong advocate for patient wellness. She believes deeply in empowering people to take an active role in their own health — and it comes through in every interaction.
Board-certified PAs with clinical backgrounds from emergency medicine to orthopedics to chronic care — all under one roof, working across both clinics.

MPAS, PA-C • At HCM since November 2023
Cassie has been a practicing PA since 2021, building her clinical foundation in urgent care, primary care, and occupational medicine. Early in her career she volunteered in an emergency department in Nepal — an experience that broadened her clinical perspective in ways classroom training never could. She relocated to Charleston in 2023 and joined HCM shortly after, drawn by the accessible care model and the team’s faith-centered culture.

MPAS, PA-C • Conversational Spanish
Brian brings a well-rounded background across family medicine, urgent care, and orthopedics — and is conversationally proficient in Spanish. His specialist skills in musculoskeletal injuries, fractures, joint injections, and splinting give HCM patients access to orthopedic-level expertise within a primary care setting. Known for clinical confidence, a calm bedside manner, and making sure every patient feels heard and empowered.

PA-C • MUSC Graduate • Virtual Weight Loss Available
Alex graduated from MUSC’s PA program in 2016 and spent four years in emergency medicine before returning to Charleston. HCM’s model — fast, personal, relationship-based care — turned out to be the right fit. She leads HCM’s medically supervised weight loss program and is available for virtual weight loss visits, as well as primary and urgent care across both clinics.

PA-C • Penn State → Salus University, Philadelphia
Cassie studied at Penn State before earning her PA degree from Salus University in Philadelphia, where she also built her early clinical career in primary care. She made the move to Charleston and joined the HCM team, bringing a warm, patient-first approach that fits right in with how Holy City Med does things. Outside the clinic she loves cooking and baking, exploring Charleston’s restaurant scene, reading, and travel.

PA-C • NC State → Wingate University (2013)
Whitney studied Biological Sciences at NC State and earned her Master’s from Wingate University in 2013. Most of her career has been spent in hospitalist and urgent care medicine — environments that demand fast thinking, confident decision-making, and the ability to handle anything that walks through the door. That high-acuity foundation translates directly into HCM’s walk-in urgent care environment, where it matters most.
At Holy City Med, you see whoever is on shift — not a dedicated assigned provider. But this is a small, consistent team. The same faces show up across both clinics, sharing the same values and the same standard of care.
One small team across West Ashley and North Charleston. No rotating strangers.
Continuity doesn’t require always seeing the same person when the whole team knows you.

Holy City Med exists because two people believed deeply that every person deserves real healthcare without the hassle. Frank and Chelsea built it — and they still show up every day to protect what it stands for.

CEO & Founder, Holy City Med
Frank grew up working in his family’s Lowcountry businesses — a Piggly Wiggly in Summerville and a Dairy Queen on Rivers Avenue. Over 30+ years he helped business owners rebuild and grow their companies, including 12 years building, running and selling the HealthFirst medical clinics. He opened Holy City Med in 2020 on a simple belief: people who feel truly cared for never leave.

Chief Operating Officer, Holy City Med
Chelsea has worked alongside Frank Wells in primary and urgent care for over ten years. That time gave her mastery across every aspect of clinic operations — and confirmed a calling. She considers Holy City Med one of her greatest achievements and is deeply proud of the care this team delivers every single day. Her daily goal: glorify God in the workplace and serve her team well.
The first face you see sets the tone — and behind every visit is a team bringing more Charleston businesses and families into the Holy City Med family.

Clinical Practice Manager • With HCM since Day One
Amber has been part of Holy City Med since the very beginning — joining PRN when HCM opened its doors in 2020 and coming on full-time in December of that year. An LPN by training, she started her healthcare career in long-term care in Homer, NY before relocating to Charleston in 2016. Amber manages the day-to-day operations of the clinic and is passionate about making every single visit feel seamless, efficient, and genuinely welcoming for patients and staff alike.

Membership Champion, Holy City Med
Kristen brings over 20 years of experience from the hospitality industry, where listening, relationship-building, and genuinely caring for people was the whole job. She joined Holy City Med in 2021 with a passion for connecting people — particularly those facing real barriers to care — with a more personal and accessible approach to healthcare. Whether you’re exploring membership for the first time or bringing Holy City Med to your whole team, Kristen is your person. She’ll make sure you feel supported, not sold to.
